This workshop is a forum for supervisors across CFBT training sites to meet together for training and discussion on key parts of the family based supervision process.
This is a live synchronous distance learning activity conducted in real time, allowing for simultaneous participation of participants and instructors from different locations. This supervision-of-supervision forum counts toward required annual supervision training hours in Family Based Mental Health Services. However, CE credit is not available.
Objectives:
As a result of participating in this workshop, supervisors will be able to:
- Describe basic criteria for what it means to be competent in applying the ESFT treatment model.
- Describe the capstone process and the supervisor’s role in it.
- Identify actions supervisors can take to support and encourage therapists during the capstone process.
This is an intermediate level forum. The target audience is behavioral health supervisors working within an Ecosystemic Family Therapy Model.
