Each year, the Center for Family Based Training sponsors three live all-staff training events on applications of ESFT in North Carolina’s Intensive In-Home programs. These workshops meet the Service Description for NC IIH Services annual requirement for continuing education in the designated treatment model -ESFT. These workshops complement the ongoing in-depth monthly ESFT small group case consultations each program has with our training faculty.
The trainings demonstrate effective implementation of the ESFT model through observation of videotaped family therapy sessions and provide opportunities to practice clinical skills via small group discussion and role plays. These all-staff workshops meet from 8:30am to 12:30pm.
