This interactive training is designed for Trainer Mentors (TMs) supervising therapists in intensive, in-home community programs implementing Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT). In this workshop, supervisors will discuss challenges and successes implementing the revised ESFT treatment fidelity measures introduced four months ago. Robin Sartain, Clinical Director of Child Services at Carolina Outreach, will share her agency’s procedures to engage teams in learning ESFT and in timely monitoring of fidelity to the model. TMs are encouraged to bring videotapes of their supervision sessions for discussion of supervision practices.
Objectives:
As a result of attending this educational activity, participants will be able to:
- Describe expectations for the supervision and oversight of IIH teams
- Identify supervisory practices that best facilitate documentation of fidelity
- Identify implementation of the Sup-F in clinical supervision to promote competency
- Strengthen skills in the supervision of ESFT
